William Tyndale became our hero because he dared to seek the truth; seek God; being deeply rooted in the organized religion of his time he dared almost the impossible. He went with time, as Daniel declared, “Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” (Book of Daniel 12:3-4). Through William Tyndale knowledge has indeed increased, merely through the numbers that received the printed Bible. Something that was reserved to just few clergyman became accessible to all. No one has the monopoly on truth and no one has the right to manipulate the human mind in order to profit in any way form of shape. The greatest sin ever, is to keep a blind person blind when sight is provided. Jesus said, “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from people; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in." (Matthew 23:13) The last Reformation is here and it is for every child of God. We have one Creator, whether the original single molecule, the Big Bang, or the first microbe, which has produced oxygen, still it is the Maker of anything and everything in existence; we aught to honor that being and be drawn to at any cost. Our survival and well-being depends on it. |
