Jesus explained God's Kingdom through parables. It would be too complicated to identify every detail, fort the spiritual kingdom cannot ever be pinpointed. Spiritual people get it spiritually. Just as physical people understand any precise explanations about the physical through the use of precise words. There is a vast difference between the physical and spiritual. Spiritual things must be grasped spiritually and physical things must be understood by being keen observation of something tangible.

Every parable deals with salvation, new birth, repentance, the seed, field and tares. When understanding is given one can't help but be drawn further into the realm of God's Kingdom. By dwelling on the subject one dwells on something spiritual that leads further than just the temporary decaying realm of the physical.

Jesus

believ "Hear then the parable of the sower. "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, and then evil comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road. [Matthew 13:18-19]

[John 8:31-32] So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

Teaching to observe all that I commanded you

The observing often comes down to only Christmas and Easter, Holy Communion, Eucharist or Mass. Yet Jesus said something else. Observing a holiday in remembrance of Him is one thing, but studying Jesus's words together with their deep meanings is another.

(Study Example) We study the parable by examining first the field; for in the same chapter (13:38) Jesus had explained that the field is the entire world. Let's synchronize it with just one verse like this one, John 3:16 where John says that 'God so loved the world that whoever believes'… Not that the entire world would be saved, but the "whoever believes..." Or those that hear the word and receive the gift of faith, (according to Romans 10:17), for faith is the God-given gift. (1 Corinthians 12:9) For this gift one must create a room, which is of our own doing.

Hidden Treasure

Matthew 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field."

He bought or paid for the entire world for in it He found His treasure. Like a pearl, of which we speak next, treasure is something we value. Although anything in the physical dimension has no value to Him, the treasure Jesus spoke about must be heavenly. We came from above. Most think in terms of the below only. They have no spiritual thoughts, except an occasional thought about what happens after they die. But do they do anything about it? Hardly.

Like a car that runs on gasoline; that gasoline is God's Spirit of Life within our engines. If we do not fill the car's tank then it will not start, let alone move.

Those that pay attention to only the looks of that heap of metal with four rubber wheels are preoccupied with just the temporary that rusts, wears out and perishes. However, those that pay attention to the "Holy Fuel" and move toward the deeper knowledge of the Provider Himself tap into the treasure, which in God's eyes they already are.

God Himself planted us - His sons and daughters in this physical sphere, world, which He calls 'the field' - and He expects us to bear much fruit thus prove that we are indeed His disciples.

Jesus said in John 15:6 "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples."

You are God's treasure, a pearl, that lost coin, etc. In order to fully possess us Jesus paid the ultimate price; His own life.

If the world is the field then who are the tares? - At the end of this article we shall understand it. Blessed are those that understand.
