World Evangelism and the Great Commission
God told us to proclaim the Good News and His Firstborn Son Jesus told us to go, preach and teach.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. - Matthew 29:19

To say 'I know Him personally' sounds presumptuous and pretentious, opening myself to ridicule, but what if that is the absolute truth? Would you deny me the right of personally knowing God? And why would I ask you? - You are not God.
If I say that the power lies in obedience rather than faith then that would be teaching of precepts and principles; not personal relationship with the Living God.
if you interpret faith as obedience then you are indeed acting on the written word thus producing the work of your faith; the substance hoped for, yet, it is still another precept and teaching of that which is written.
If I taught you a relationship then I'd have to go into the secret and intimate experiences with the Father. And if I do that I'd come across as some braggart.
There is no way out of the deviousness of the human heart, except...

Jesus went on to say that He speaks from what He knows and has seen, not what is written or understood with the so-prone-to-boastful-pride clumsy mind of ours.
The great commission is not to make someone feel lost, but to find someone who knows that he or she is indeed lost and in desperate need of being found.
