Something fresh

“I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known. They are created now and not long ago; and before today you have not heard them, lest you should say, 'Behold, I knew them.'” Isaiah 48:6-7

The Almighty works with the new and the fresh, for the new and the fresh lives. In Him we live and move and have our being… (Acts 17:28) and apart from Him we can do nothing. (John 15:5)The very idea of movement comes from the Spirit of God. (John 4:24) We see that the Lord Jesus frequently moved about and hardly ever remained in one place for too long.

In the Book of Acts we see that Philip the Evangelist was instantly transported by God’s Spirit from place to place; Agabus the prophet, Apollos the teacher and all the apostles kept moving about as the Spirit impelled them. Movement is the very nature of life.
